LRGC Range Officer Course

The LRGC recruits and trains range officer candidates to become club certified range officer volunteers to supervise the indoor range and some outdoor group shoots.  This course is a one-day course and runs from 9 am - 5 pm. Lunch will be provided for registered candidates. Course will be held in the Bird Building at the LRGC. 

RO candidates are selected by existing range officers - this is not open the public or non-eligible members.  Please contact planning@lrgc.com if you are interested or speak with a current range officer. 

If you received and responded to the RO course scheduling email - you will be registered and receive a notification of the registration.

A course fee/deposit payment of $50 will be required on the day of the course by cash or credit card for NEW range officer candidates - please come ready to pay this fee. If you prefer to pay this fee online - please contact me at planning@lrgc.com and I will send you an invoice. This fee will be fully refunded if/once you have competed the RO mentoring requirement and and have suitably volunteered as an RO in the range. 

You are not being requested to bring any firearms to the course - however it is recommended that you bring eye and ear protection for yourself - electronic ear protection is preferred. A course manual will be provided to you at the course (or possibly prior by email.)
