Due to Covid 19 the shooters will need to be scheduled into the range such that shooters are not sitting around waiting.
All match shooting will occur on Saturday Nov 28 starting around 1:30 pm. The shooting schedule will be announced to all registered shooters on Friday evening Nov 27 so you must book before Friday 12:00 noon. Shooters entering both matches will be provided with back-to-back sessions to allow them to shoot both matches and leave after turning in their targets.
Thus the procedure will be:
1) Reserve shooting spots on-line. There will be two separate events listed online - one for the 22 cal match and one for the centre fire match. Register for one or both. To shoot both you MUST register for both. Aggregate awards require both to be entered. Reserve before noon on Friday Nov 27 to be sure of a spot. Cost will be $15 for each match payable at the range.
2) You will receive a shooting schedule (your block of time to shoot) by email on Friday evening Nov 27. Session times will start around 1:45 pm with the end time depending on the number of shooters.
(Note: Normal shooting sessions will be available for shooters to sight in their firearms earlier on Saturday morning - make use of them as you won't have a lot of time to do so during the match).
3) Arrive at the range 15 minutes prior to your session and report to the Bird Building. Pay for your matches and pick up targets. Allow more time if you are not paying by cash.
4) Shoot your match targets in the range within your scheduled time. Turn in the targets to the Bird Building when finished and pick up your prize.
5) Results will be announced/sent to you by email subsequent to all targets being scored.
Note: No pistols with a fore-stock may be used. These matches will be run using LRGC Trophy Pistol Match Rules.
Shoot a little or a lot, but come and have fun! Draw prizes for all entrants.
