EXTENDED: LRGC Full Closure of INDOOR RANGE due to Covid-19 Risk

The INDOOR range is closed to scheduled session shooting until Friday June 12. Please do not attend during this temporary closure.

Dear fellow LRGC members,

The club has opened the outdoor ranges with limited access (LRGC and reciprocal members only) and this phase of the plan appears to be working well after a few needed adjustments. 

The plan to open the indoor range is in-progress and new sessions will be defined and placed on the calendar with a reopening date of Saturday June 13 under New Indoor Range Rules - to be posted shortly. The draft plan has been created and circulated to club certified ROs and once a range officer has committed to supervising a proposed session, that session will be placed on the calendar and "opened" such that eligible member shooters (see rules) can reserve a spot and pre-pay online.  A maximum of 4 shooters per session are allowed to maintain social distancing. You must bring your confirmation of reservation and payment to the session along with your membership card to "scan-in". 

As one would expect - social distancing, cleaning/disinfecting and other operations will be more difficult on the indoor range - and thus will require both ROs and members to participate more fully in the process when the range is reopened to scheduled member shooting.  Activities requiring direct supervision (i.e. junior programs, new shooter orientations and guests) are not included in the initial opening phase of the indoor range. 

To avoid disappointment and being turned away at the range - please read and follow the New Indoor Range Rules that will be sent to you and posted on the website homepage.  This document will describe who is eligible and how to reserve shooting session spots in this initial reopening of the indoor range.
