RO Training Course

This is the Range Officer (RO) training course for club certification of indoor and outdoor range officers (ROIs and ROOs).  The course is available to new candidates and as a refresher for existing range officers.  

The course will be held on Saturday Nov 2 2019 in the Bird Building at the LRGC. 
Doors open at 8:30 am.  Start time is 9 am. Please come a few minutes early to complete your registration.  

New candidates are to be members in good standing and be nominated/sponsored by an existing range officer that is most familiar with your personality and gun-handling skills. 

All new candidates must commit to completing the course including mentoring and a final check, and commit to performing a designated number of hours of volunteer RO duties at the club before receiving their RO card. 

You must register for this course as some information will be sent prior to those who have registered. A full RO manual will be provided at the course. 

Course fee: $30   ($0 to register - Please bring $30 payment to course)

(Note: this fee to be returned once RO candidate has completed their mentoring and their pre-requisite RO volunteer duty hours prior to receiving their card).  

Existing ROs wishing to attend are welcome to do so at no charge. 

Members interested should contact the RO in their shooting session for sponsorship.
